March is endometriosis awareness month and at The Hub we believe in supporting women and raising awareness of this chronic and often overlooked condition. In New Zealand 1 in 10 or approximately 120,000 women experience endometriosis of some degree in their life and getting diagnosis and support often takes many years.
During this time, it is easy to feel overlooked, undervalued and frustrated.
Endometriosis doesn't just effect menstruation, there is often pelvic pain, issues with digestion, fatigue, reduced fertility, unbalanced hormones and changes in moods.
Relief from pain, hormonal therapies and surgeries are often recommended as treatments in conventional medicine, however holistic therapies also have a place alongside these.
As the person is considered, not a diagnosis or fixed treatment plan, we are able to create an individualised plan for supporting your symptoms, you are seen and supported in a caring and safe environment. At The Hub Rangiora we offer natural therapies such as body work, naturopathy, massage and energy healing and other modalities where we can work with you on your journey with endometriosis.
This helps you take back the feeling of being in control of your health as you make steps to improve your wellbeing.

Until April 24th we are running a fundraiser for endometriosis, to learn more click here.
Although having endometriosis can feel like a never-ending battle, this month, and into the future, at The Hub, we make your health a priority.
