About Me.
My name is Liz Plant, I have been interested in natural health since the 1990's. I specialize in holistic healing through CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, Intuitive healing with crystals and Chakradance™, enhancing mind, body and soul balance and harmony.
I gained my qualifications for Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release in the early 2000's. More recently I qualified as a Chakradance™ and Chakradance Kids™ facilitator.
All healing modalities I offer are very gentle yet profound, promoting wellness and well-being.
CranioScaral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system. CST is a 'light-touch' manual therapy that works with the body to enhance the body's natural healing processes.
How is CST performed?
A CST session is performed with the client, remaining fully clothed, reclining on a treatment table while I stand or sit at various positions from the head, torso or feet. A typical session lasts approximately one hour.
How does CST work?
The craniosacral system in which the central nervous system functions, consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, extending from the bones of the skull, face and mouth down to the tailbone. CST works on the understanding that imbalance or dysfunction of this system can adversely affect the development and performance of the brain and spinal cord and contribute to sensory, motor and/or neurological disabilities.

Contraindications include conditions where a variable or slight increase in intracranial pressure could cause instability.
The extremely light touch involved with CST makes it a safe approach for people of all ages, including newborns and the elderly.
Reiki
Reiki translates as "universal" or "God-consciousness"(Rei) and "vital life force" (Ki) and all living things have this life force energy circulating through it and around it, from plants to animals including people. Reiki is not a religion however it is spiritual in nature.
How does Reiki work?
Because Reiki is guided by God-consciousness, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create the effect that is appropriate for them. Reiki is a channeled healing with energy flowing through the practitioner to the client. It raises the vibrational level of the energy field with positive energy to where negative thoughts and feelings have attached, causing them to break apart and fall away, leaving clear, straight pathways for the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
What can I expect from a treatment?
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through you and surrounds you. Reiki treats the whole person, body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being
Chakradance
Chakradance is a transformational movement healing modality. With a unique combination of music that has been specifically designed and composed with the attributes and frequency of each chakra in mind, meditation, movement and art, Chakradance will change your life. As we gently release blocked emotions, unresolved feelings and traumas from our body, our cells and our energy field there is a shift in our reality. New opportunities arise, new people or situations present themselves and life begins to flow with Grace & Ease.
How does Chakradance work?
With the energy of the frequency music, guided imagery and allowing our body to freely move as it needs to, we shift negative energies attached to us, whether it be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. With eyes closed, wearing an eye mask or gaze lowered, we access the inner world more easily, allowing for deeper healing. As the unconscious meets the conscious through this process and with the creation of the mandala art piece we gain more insight into our experience and our healing.
How will Chakradance benefit me?
Chakradance reconnects you with your true self, the beautiful soul that you are. As it frees you from the energy of negative experiences you've had, Chakradance allows you to live the life you are meant to lead. It has an impact on our outer world like a ripple effect.
